It’s Not Supposed to be This Hot in San Diego

When we moved to San Diego in 2001 (it was my second time here, and my wife’s first), one of the things we loved was the climate… Never too cool, never too hot, and rarely uncomfortable humidly (compared with the Midwest).

This year seems to have been an exception.

As I type this, the temperature has topped 100 degrees!

To make matters worse, we only had a few days of relief since “monsoonal moisture” from hurricanes Odie, Polo, and Norbert slammed Baja last month, making this feel like a Louisiana swamp.
